WHAT’Z UP GANGSTARZ?!

This is my mug =P

I am a Graduate Student @ W.K.U. I graduated with my Undergraduate degree with a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies emphasis Business & Communications from Western Kentucky~~! But, I haven’t quit school yet, ahhh as much as I’d like to. I decided to continue my education because pffffff I have nothing else better to do, LOLZ!! And, I wanted to get my Masters in Leadership Dynamics and Criminology. I am here at college focusing on the study of gender in leadership positions in correlation with victimology and crime.

My “vision” or my ~dream~ for our movement is to forever destigmatize the term “STD.” I’m sick of hearing jokes about AIDS and the clap. It isn’t funny anymore; disease should not be something to laugh about. These stigmas stretch far and wide in every gender and age group (but mostly found common among young adults.) People need to know that if they have contracted a disease,they are NOT alone, and they are NOT disgusting or dirty.

I feel that young adults are not educated enough on this subject (we are all not fully truly educated on any single subject anyway!) “Knowledge is Power!” But, you’d be surprised on how many people do not know anything, anything about how STD/STIs are contracted and spread. You don’t even have to have sex! You could be a virgin even! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then ask me or browse our blog. It is here for a reason!
